I will miss my Uncle Bryon. My Dad, Walton, died in 2005. Uncle Byron sounded like my Dad and my grandparents, so every time we talked I was reminded of my Dad and comforted by the familiar sounding voice. About every two years Victor and I would drive from Texas to Missouri to see our relatives. Uncle Byron always greeted us with a big smile and a hug. Sometimes when I called him from Texas, Uncle Bryon would ask , “When are you coming up here”. Uncle Byron and my Dad love fishing and baseball. I will miss them but I will have happy memories.
