Carl Edward Lashley
Graveside services for Carl Edward Lashley, 78, Oakland, Arkansas, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Clear Springs Cemetery, Dawt, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Lashley died 3:27 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born February 11, 1934 at West Plains, Missouri to Roy Edward and Nelma Lela Workman Lashley. On June 18, 1967, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Sharon Evans. For forty-two years, Mr. Lashley had been employed as a route and branch manager for Hiland Dairy. He loved to fish and was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Sharon Lashley, of the family home; two daughters, Sharon Warren, husband, Steve, Conway, Missouri and Lisa Lashley, Tulsa, Oklahoma; step-son, Tony Martin, West Plains, Missouri; four grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, husband, Greg, Stacie Vestal, husband, Lance, Steven Warren and Lindsey Lashley; four great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Ty, Cassie and Gracie; two brothers, Jim Lashley, wife, Emma, and Gary Lashley, wife, Jo, all of West Plains, Missouri; three sisters, Peggy Uphaus, husband, Gordon and Debbie Welch, husband, David, all of West Plains, Missouri and Judy Horn, husband, Claude, Bakersfield, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 26th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilltop Baptist Church or St. Judes Children’s Hospital and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Carl was a wonderful man, with a ready smile and warm personality that made him a joy to be around. Our thoughts and prayers are now with Sharon and family, in the hopes that they may find peace during this most difficult time.
