Carl Jay Ingalsbe
Funeral services for Carl Jay Ingalsbe, 57, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Faith Assembly of God Church, West Plains, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Ingalsbe died at 1:20 a.m., Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Hospice of The Valley – Coronado Home, Phoenix, Arizona. He was born October 12, 1954, at West Plains, Missouri, to James Peter and Eleaner Louise Gundy Ingalsbe. On August 15, 1975, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Christy Lynn Emerick. He was a business owner, most recently, operating Sears of West Plains. Carl loved the outdoors, especially hunting and being on his tractor. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and taking them to the pond in the golf cart to feed the catfish. He had a huge heart and was always willing to help others. Carl was a Christian and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and was a friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Christy Ingalsbe, of the family home; two children, Khara Moss, husband, Nathan, and Shaun Ingalsbe, wife, Jackie, both of West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Ethan Moss, Haylee Ingalsbe and Brody Moss; his parents, Jim and Louise Ingalsbe, West Plains, Missouri; two brothers, Ray Ingalsbe, wife, Bonnie, West Plains, Missouri and Kelvin Ingalsbe, wife, Cindy, Ozark, Missouri; two sisters, Linda Kutter, husband, Kenneth, and Dianna Ingalsbe, both West Plains, Missouri; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Emma Lou Emerick, West Plains, Missouri and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
His paternal grandparents, Harry and Ella Ingalsbe and maternal grandparents, Fred and Berneice Gundy, precede him in death.
Mr. Ingalsbe will lie in state from noon until 9:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Carl Ingalsbe Memorial Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
