Carol Sue Parrish
A Visitation Celebration of Life Service for Carol Sue Parrish, 64, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2015, at First Baptist Church, South Campus, West Plains, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Parrish died at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her home.
She was born November 12, 1950, at St. Louis, Missouri, to Robert Irving Kurth and Mae June Poole Kurth. On November 18, 1971, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Doug Parrish. Mrs. Parrish was a homemaker and was a medical coder in the oncology department at Ozarks Medical Center. She enjoyed crafts and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Doug Parrish, of the family home; two children, Amy Green, husband, Chris, West Plains, Missouri and Zachary Parrish, Colorado Springs, Colorado; two grandchildren, Hayden Green and Daegen Green; one brother, Kenneth Kurth, Pomona, Missouri; three sisters, Linda Allen, husband, Ed, South Fork, Missouri, Meredith Brewer, husband, Jimmy, Thayer, Missouri and Patricia Taylor, husband, Buddy, Horatio, Arkansas; three half-brothers, Jimmy Moore, Horatio, Arkansas, Bobby Kurth, wife, Julie, West Plains, Missouri and Danny Kurth, State of Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and one sister, Joanna Peer, precede her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to West Plains Soccer Association, West Plains High School Class of 1969, OMC Oncology Department or King’s Basket Ball Organization and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY, CAROL WAS A GOOD AND DEAR PERSON, OUR FAMILIES GREW UP TOGETHER AT WHITE CHURCH AND HAD ALOT OF FUN. WE WERE ALWAY AT ONE ANOTHERS HOMES AND WERE FRIENDS. SHE’LL BE GREATLY MISSED AND REMEMBERED FOR HER TOUGHNESS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL
