Carole Sue Skaggs
Funeral services for Carole Sue Skaggs, 75, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2013 in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Skaggs died 9:50 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the Ozarks Medical Center. She was born December 22, 1937 at Jonesboro, Arkansas to James Kimberland and Patricia Sue Cunningham Kimberland. On June 30, 1958, she was married at Blytheville, Arkansas to Kenneth Skaggs. Mrs. Skaggs was a graduate of the West Plains L.P.N. School and had been employed with Dr. M. L. Fowler, Dr. Harry S. Kelly and the Howell County Health Office as a L.P.N. After her retirement, she worked at J. C. Penney and Stage. Mrs. Skaggs enjoyed raising flowers, gardening, singing, baking and shopping. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, West Plains.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Skaggs, of the family home; three children, Cindy Franks, husband, Daniel, Peace Valley, Missouri, Tammy Kinder, husband, Terry, Sturkie, Arkansas and Kenneth B. Skaggs, Jr., Festus, Missouri; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Franks, wife, Ashley, Matthew Franks, wife, Kayla, Terra Kinder and Jesse Kinder; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Franks, Hayden Franks and McKinley Franks; one sister, Martha Gray, husband, Charles, Paola, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Mrs. Skaggs will lie in state from 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 9th until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Barnett Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Barnett Cemetery or Gideon Bible Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Skaggs family during this time of sorrow. Carol was a wonderful person and will be missed by many people. I visited with her very briefly at Westvue when my mother was there. Will continue to pray for you all and ask God to help you remember all the good and tender times you shared with her. Kenny and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Carole and she, Dorothy Jones and I were three best friends. I wish we had been able to stay in touch.

I will always remember fondly all teh good times we had had growning up together. Spending time at Uncle Kenneth and Aunt Carol’s House for our birthday’s Cindy. will always be remembered. And us staying up talking and laughing til we were told to be quite and go to sleep. As they say Wonderful Memories,that no one can take away. Your all in my prayers.
