Charles and I were classmates at Bakersfield H.S. Class of ’55. I was sorry to learn of his passing. He was respected, popular, involved, and a loyal, dependable friend to many. His outgoing personality brightened your day and even in later life, he never changed and his optimism never seemed to fade. Charles was a good man, my good friend and I am proud to have known him. My best to his family.

I met Charles when we were in junior high in basketball games. He was a
delightful person, smiling and always had a funny story. God bless your family
and give you joy and peace. I’m sorry this is posted so late but I live in North
Carolina and don’t get news from West Plains and vicinity until much time has
    passed.
