Christina Marie Simpson

Funeral services for Christina Marie Simpson, 34, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.   Mrs. Simpson died at 7:35 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at her home.  She was born October 2, 1977, at Mansfield, Missouri, to Terry Gates and Geraldine Dugger Gates Barks.  On September 20, 2008, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to James M. Simpson, Jr.  She had been an LPN at Integrity Home Care and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jamie Simpson, of the family home; two children, Chelsey Shearin and Chloe Simpson, both of the family home; father, Terry Gates, wife, Millie, Hartville, Missouri; mother, Geraldine Barks, husband, James, Pomona, Missouri; two brothers, Cary Gates, wife, Alisha, of Korea and Steven Gates, wife, Tae, of State of Hawaii; maternal grandparents, Robert and Della Dugger, Hartville, Missouri; two step-brothers, Matt Cline, Fordland, Missouri and Jamie Barks, West Plains, Missouri; one step-sister, Marla Cline, Springfield, Missouri; mother-in-law, Pam Solomon, West Plains, Missouri; father-in-law, James Simpson, Pomona, Missouri; special friend, Martha; and several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her grandparents, Franklin and Barbara Gates and three cousins, Leighann Dugger, Deanna Owens and Matthew Cook, precede her in death.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 2, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Shaw Medical Building or American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
