Conrad L. Cozort
Graveside services for Conrad L. Cozort, 84, West Plains, Missouri, were held Friday, August 26, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Cozort passed away at 4:45 p.m., Monday, August 22, 2016 at Brooke Haven Healthcare.
He was born January 23, 1932, at Wiseman, Arkansas, to Walter Curtis Cozort and Margaret Gwen Southard Cozort. Mr. Cozort was a veteran, having served with the Missouri National Guard for thirty-seven years; he was also a fifty year member of the Masonic Lodge at Thayer, Missouri. On July 4, 1953, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Blanche Ruth Case. Mr. Cozort retired after thirty-eight years working as a construction inspector for Missouri Transportation and Highway Department. He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed farming and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Blanche Cozort, of the family home; three children, Charlotte Gore and husband, Wayne, West Plains, Karen walker and husband, Danny, Tecumseh, Missouri and Dennis Cozort, West Plains; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five brothers, Herbert Cozort and wife, Wilma, Nixa, Missouri, Curtis Cozort and wife, Anita, West Plains, Norris Cozort and wife, Ivene, West Plains, Johnny Cozort, West Plains and Kirby Cozort and wife, Penny, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one sister, Rose Ann Bales and husband, Buddy, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and one daughter, Brenda Taylor precede him in death.

I just found out and am sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Karen’s. Both my parents were in Brookehaven, my Mother is still there, we lost Dad last year. Our prayers are with the family.
