Coy Kelley
A memorial service for Samuel “Coy” Kelley, 84, Dora, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Family Life Church.
Mr. Kelley passed away at 3:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2018, at his home.
He was born April 24, 1934, at Isabella, Missouri, to Mineral “Bea” Kelley and Minnie Johnson Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a veteran, having served with the United States Army. On May 24, 1958, he was married at Wichita, Kansas, to Virginia Croney. Mr. Kelley was a farmer and a good handyman. He was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Virginia Kelley; two children, Rick Kelley and wife, Judy, Willow Springs, Missouri and Scott Kelley and wife, Cherri, Dora, Missouri; four grandchildren, Sean Kelley and wife, Katlin, Patrick Kelley, Monica Kelley and Abby Kelley; four great-grandchildren, Alister, Griffin, Creed and Haven Kelley; and one sister, Juanita Smith and husband, Mike, Gainesville, Missouri.
His parents, two sisters, Jearlean Newton and Irene Stafford and one brother, Troy Kelley, preceded him in death.
The family will receive their friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m., to 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Family Life Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Dora Youth Night Out Building Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
