David Baughman
Funeral services for David Claude Baughman, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2019 at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Baughman passed away at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born December 20, 1948, at Mount Pulaski, Illinois, to Lloyd Grayson Baughman and Hulda Pauline Sholty Baughman. On August 18, 1973, he was married at West Plains, to Debbie Easley. Mr. Baughman was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force. He had worked in construction and was a sales representative for Meeks Lumber Co. He loved to sing gospel music, play golf and coin collecting and was a Cardinals fan and a Chiefs fan. Mr. Baughman was a member of Brandsville Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Baughman, of the family home; three children, Cheri Stump and husband, Shawn, West Plains, Missouri, Ben Baughman and wife, Renee, Trenton, Tennessee and Julie Combs Cape Girardeau, Missouri; five grandchildren, David Andrew, Tristan, Emily, Piper and Andrew; two sisters, Linda Bunch, Brandsville, Missouri and Anna Judd, South Haven, Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
His parents, step-mother, Lena Baughman, two brothers, Howard Dale Baughman and Charles Robert Burroughs, a special cousin, Victor Featherston and a sister-in-law, Linda Baughman, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Brandsville Church of God Memorial Fund and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

David was a great human being. He was such a great friend. He will be missed so much by everyone who knew him. No more suffering my friend. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Dave always had a smile for me even when felt bad. He was a man of integrity. I’m glad I was part of his care team as well as his cousin by marraige. Joe and I want you to know you are in our hearts.
