Funeral services for David Kenneth Holland, 81, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 31, 2023, at First Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Holland passed away at 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at his home.
He was born August 28, 1941, at West Frankfort, Illinois, to Kenneth Holland and Alta Grace Jones Holland. On August 16, 1997, he was married at West Plains, to Debbie Davis. Mr. Holland was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force. He loved everything to do with horses and for many years was a member of the Wagon Club. Mr. Holland loved food and enjoyed cooking; many times planning his next meal while eating. He also enjoyed going to auctions. His personality was bigger than life; any who knew him loved him. David was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He loved living his life on his little farm. Mr. Holland was a member of First Baptist Church for twenty-five years.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Holland, of the family home; three children, Terree Funesti, David Holland, Jr., and significant other, Chaz Breedlove, and Joe Holland and wife, Rhonda, all of Kansas City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Amanda Funesti, Nick Funesti and wife, Kyli, Brendan Funesti, Skyler Holland, Sam Holland, Audrey Holland, Joe Joe Holland, and Grant Jennings; two great-grandchildren, Knox and Halle Funesti; one sister, Janet Johnson of the State of Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, his first wife, Nancee Coates, one daughter, Tammi Jennings, two brothers, Joe and Sidney Holland; one sister-in-law, Marlene Holland and one son-in-law, Rich Funesti, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.

So sorry for your loss Debbie. I have known Dave from time I worked at Southwest Truck Body(DRS). Of course you and I go back from Fairview School days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
