Delphia Jarvis Lane
Funeral services for Delphia Jarvis Lane, 92, Bolivar, Missouri, formerly of West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lane died at 9:14 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2012, at Citizens Memorial Healthcare, Bolivar, Missouri.
She was born September 21, 1919, at Elijah, Missouri, to James Lawrence and Nannie Sullivan Lawrence. On June 23, 1938, she was married at Elijah, Missouri, to Oba Jarvis, who preceded her in death March 21, 1974. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and taking care of her grandkids. Mrs. Lane was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three children, Judy Albin, husband, Ben, Grandview, Missouri, Jack Jarvis, Caulfield, Missouri and Carrie Babb, husband, Don, Bolivar, Missouri; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one daughter, Sandra Old Mitchell; three sisters, Alma Price, Elva Wheeler, Effie Wheeler and one brother, Flay Lawrence, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Baptist Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Citizens Memorial Health Care or Baptist Hill Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
