Dickie Lee Peterson
Funeral services for Dickie Lee Peterson, 69, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Peterson passed away at 5:49 a.m., Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born June 29, 1948, at West Plains, Missouri, to Eugene Peterson and Helen Mae Hoglen Peterson. Dickie graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1966. On May 31, 1969, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Ginger Lyn Story. He retired from International Shoe Factory, after thirty-five years as a dedicated worker. Dickie enjoyed watching his kids and grandchildren play sports and will forever be a race fan; he spent many enjoyable days working on the #71 car with his brother, Danny and many close friends. Mr. Peterson was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Peterson, of the family home; three children, Shayne Peterson and wife, Renetta, Shawn Peterson and special friend, Denise and Brittany Stanley and husband, William; four grandchildren, Stone Peterson, Shayleeana Peterson, Hunter Stanley and Haylee Stanley; one brother, Danny Peterson and wife, Barbara; one niece, Angie Garner and husband, Jimmy; and one nephew, Jason Peterson and wife, Rachel.
His parents, and one grandson, Zayne Lee Adam Peterson, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the State Line Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to State Line Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So very Sorry to you Ginger & the rest of the Family. You are in my heart & prayers at this time. its been an honor to have been a neighbor to you & Dick. He was always such a pleasant man, friendly, & had a bright smile for others. He will be missed. Love to all at this time…prayers.

Sorry for your loss. I got acquainted with Dick when I would do service work at Lee’s Curtain. he was always happy and quick to share his faith. I look forward to seeing him again. May God comfort you in this time of sadness.
