Don Alsup
Graveside services for Donald E. Alsup, 77, West Plains, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014, at Barnett Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Alsup died at 5:16 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born January 25, 1937, at Dora, Missouri. On June 22, 1956, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Barbara Good. Before his retirement, he worked at International Shoe Company and Regal, formerly known as Marathon Electric. He enjoyed playing golf and playing music on his guitar, mainly country. He loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Alsup was a member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Alsup, of the family home; one son, Brent Alsup, wife, Renea, Rover, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Glenna Alsup, West Plains, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jennifer Newberry, husband, Brad, Brittney Barry, husband, Brian, Jeremy Alsup, wife, Kate, Jarryd Alsup, wife, Melissa and Makenzie Alsup; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Janice Duggins, husband, Gary, West Plains, Missouri.
His mother, Ella Roberson, step-father, Eldon Roberson, one son, Kevin Alsup and one great-grandson, Brody Barry, precede him in death.
Mr. Alsup will lie in state from 5:00 p.m., Friday until Noon Saturday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church The Thrive Campaign Fund, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Barbara and family,
Our heartfelt sympathy during this time of grief and loss. We have recalled, so fondly, the years we were neighbors and established a life-long friendship. We shall miss seeing Don.
