In loving memory of my nephew, Don J Boyer Sr.
I am so sorry I couldn’t be there for you today, but in my heart and mind, I am there. I remember when your mom and dad got you your first guitar when you were fourteen years old. You brought it to me so I could string it up left handed for you. I drew some lines for strings and frets on a piece of paper, and gave you three chords, C-D-G. You took it from there and became the great guitarist and singer that you are. You had the gift to make music and I have always been proud of that. You loved music and you loved your family. I know you brought joy to a lot of people who loved to hear you play. Today you bring tears to the eyes of the many who love you and will miss you, now that you have gone from this world. You will always be in our hearts. I love you, Don.
Your loving Aunt,
Lorine
