Frank and I met Doris while he, too, was receiving care at NHC a couple of months ago. Doris’ room was just down the hall from Frank’s and we got to see her every day, especially at mealtimes. Doris was warm and friendly to all who came into her orbit. She never complained though she often struggled just to breathe. Frank and I will always treasure the little time we spent in her company. We will never forget her smile especially when she talked about her loving family—or how she used to love gardening. May she rest in peace knowing she touched many hearts during her journey on this earth. We pray that all who love her and will miss her find comfort in the memories of her that will live forever in their hearts—and to them we send our sincerest sympathy. Su and Frank Sherry
