Doris Esther Zaiser
Funeral services for Doris Esther Zaiser, 90, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Zaiser died at 11:30 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born September 7, 1922, in Bourbon, Missouri, to Reverend Elfred John Roschke and Meta Groh Roschke. On December 6, 1944, she was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to Fred Zaiser, who preceded her in death on May 22, 1991. Before her retirement, Doris and her husband, Fred, operated Ozarko Oil for many years. She enjoyed making greeting cards for any occasion on her computer for friends, neighbors and family. She was involved in and enjoyed many activities such as water aerobics at the West Plains Civic Center, exercise classes at West Plains Senior Citizens Center, the Dorcas Circle of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and was a volunteer at Ozarks Medical Center for fifteen years. She had a kind and generous spirit and always brightened everyone’s day. Mrs. Zaiser was a lifetime member of Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Plains.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Glenn, husband Harold, Corona, California; Jennifer Lange, Hoffman Estates, Illinois; and Nancy Brown, husband Tom, West Plains, Missouri; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Weubben, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Her parents, husband, one son, Rick Zaiser and one brother, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Your mother was a very sweet and kind woman. She will not be forgotten. And remember, in the arms of Jesus….what a wonderful place to be. My prayers are with each of you and your families. Barbara
