In their 60 year marriage, they traveled to all 50 states and Canada and Mexico. Dorthy loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, canoeing, gardening and her flowerbeds. She would always be the one to come away with a fish to eat for dinner at the campsite. Dorthy loved teaching Sunday school, working in the church library and helping in the food bank at First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Vic Coble, of the family home; one son, Doug Coble and wife, Susan, Cottonwood, California; one daughter, Cheryl Floyd and husband, J.R., Thayer, Missouri; four grandchildren, Garrett Coble, Redding, California, Rena Riemann and husband, Ben, Omaha, Nebraska, Jesse Morgan, West Plains, Missouri and Ben Dotson, Thayer, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, (her mother only surviving six days after her birth), one sister, Janice Holman and one great-nephew, Shane Cameron, preceded her in death.

My sympathy to you all in your loss of Dorthy. She was such a kind person and probably the most dedicated and thorough teacher that I have ever known. I enjoyed my time with her as a teacher at Richards.
