Ms. Elaine was my bus driver for years when I went to school at Bakersfield. She was always warm, friendly and was quick with a funny story. I’ve always thought of her during the years with fond memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Today there are many women of all ages in the Ozarks who walk in places and vocations that were once believed to be unreachable for them. My sweet friend broke down walls and through doors that showed other women there isn’t anything they cannot overcome or achieve. She lived her life for her family, her faith in God and her community, giving all she had. I am a far better person for having learned from her, shared with her and loved her. I thank God for her sincere friendship. Always and forever, no matter what my Sissy. Someday we’ll enjoy our forever days where the roses never fade. Love and prayers to her family. Take good care of each other and love more each day.
