Elmer “Glenn” Bryan
Funeral services for Elmer Bryan, 73, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Bryan died at 4:17 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2014, at his home.
He was born July 29, 1940, at Pomona, Missouri, to Wayne Bryan and Jessie Merrett Bryan. He graduated from Willow Springs High School with the Class of 1958 and on April 27, 1961, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Ann Cochran. He retired from Doss & Harper Stone Co., after forty-five years. He was the former president of Mackey Cemetery and was a former member of the Pomona Fire Board. Mr. Bryan was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Bryan, of the family home; two children, Jim Bryan, Pomona, Missouri and Glenda Shertz and husband, Richie, Pomona, Missouri; four grandchildren, Briana, Emily, Kurt and Jimalee; five great-grandchildren, Colt, Alexis, Kamren, Austyn and Ashlyn; one brother, Ronnie Bryan, wife, Bonnie, Pomona, Missouri; two sisters, Jo Corman, Pomona, Missouri and Betty Holman-Adams and husband, Fred, Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Monday at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mackey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mackey Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Glenda I’m very sorry for the loss of your father. Its a hard road to go down just hold each other near and give Momma lots of love in the days to come. love and hugs…Virginia

Ann and family we were sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and you family. Rita has Physical Therapy Tuesday so we may not be able to make the funeral.
