Gary Harold Rosenbum
Graveside services for Gary Harold Rosenbum, 68, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at New Liberty Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Rosenbum died at 12:55 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his home.
He was born January 8, 1945, at Birch Tree, Missouri, to Alma Lee and Lola Demple Smotherman Rosenbum. On August 20, 1988, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Laura Howell. Mr. Rosenbum was a veteran having served with the United States Navy and was a truck driver with Peace Valley Charcoal. He loved horses, fishing and being Papa.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Rosenbum, of the family home; four children, Gary Rosenbum, Jr., State of Kentucky, Shawna Head and husband, Keith, Pomona, Missouri, Mary Jane McIntoch, State of Kentucky and John McIntosh, State of Kentucky; eight grandchildren, including three special grandchildren, Larmey, Layton and Zaydon; two brothers, Kenneth Rosenbum and wife, Shirley, West Plains, Missouri and Rick Rosenbum, Columbia, Missouri; six sisters, Yvonne Kirwan and husband, Mike, Topeka, Kansas, Barbara Gatton, Jefferson City, Missouri, Sharon Sampsel, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Donna Carter and husband, John, Murchison, Texas, Brenda Easley and husband, James, Garland, Texas and Angie Burch and husband, Robert, Forney, Texas; and many nieces and nephews, including Dion Rosenbum.
His parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Betris Howell, and Howard Bruffett, precede him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

u want to send condolences to the family of Lee and Lola as they felt as family to us always because of Dwayne. May God Bless and comfort all of you during this time..i salute Gary for his service to our country and will forever be grateful. Surely that will always be a lasting legacy.
