Gary Wayne Lawson
Funeral services for Gary Wayne Lawson, 66, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Lawson passed away at 1:07 a.m., Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born October 10, 1950, at Dexter, Missouri, to Carroll W. Lawson and Ruth Etta Campbell Lawson Ingleton. On August 22, 2003, he was married at West Plains, to Mary Lou Thomas. Mr. Lawson worked for Ball Glass Company in Illinois for thirty-five years. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, visiting with family and neighbors; he was always willing to help anyone with a need. Mr. Lawson was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lawson; three children, Thomas Gary Lawson and wife, Babette, Kim Fox and husband, Jim and Michelle Lucas; one step-daughter, Cindy Sinclair and husband, Marty; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie Thompson and husband, James and Janet Johnson; two brothers, Mike Butts and Steven Butts; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, step-father, Ted Ingleton; three brothers, Richard, Carroll “Buzz” and Gene Lawson, two sisters, Judy Darnell and Linda Butts and one step-son, James Newton, precede him in death.
Mr. Lawson will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
