Genevieve Agnes Thompson
Genevieve Agnes Thompson, 87, West Plains, died 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Thompson was born December 16, 1924 at Gillette, Wyoming to Fred and Edith Kelly. On August 17, 1946, she was married to Lonzo Thompson who preceded her in death on June 9, 1981. Before her retirement, Mrs. Thompson was employed by the Brass Lantern and Sharp’s Cafe. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by twelve children, Louise Thompson, Lonnie Thompson, partner, Sheila, Terry Thompson, partner, Sheila, Josephine Thompson, Janice Thompson, Marie Mallory, and A. Esther Thompson, all of West Plains, Violet Curtis, husband, Reggie, Mountain Grove, Missouri, Edith Cox, Cabool, Missouri, Mary Kendele,Tarkio, Missouri, Wilma King, Springfield, Missouri and Judy Doss, husband, Tony, Peace Valley, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, including Benny and Jessica; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
Her parents, husband, one daughter, Betty King and one son, Jimmy Thompson, precede her in death.
Memorials services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Doug let us know that Aunt Gene died. We want to let you know we are very sorry and thinking about you all. I am so thankful that Jim and I got to visit last Summer and I am ever so thankful that I got alot of really nice picture’s. I will always have great memories of Aunt Gene and my heart will always be in Missouri.

Jean is my oldest sister whom I love very much and so sorry I am unable to be there for the funeral but my prayers and thoughts have been with her through out the trials she has had to endure these past few months. My sister has always been a strong Woman traits of our family.
Jean I love you and will see you on the other side I know you are haveing an awesome reunion with our Mom,Dad and brothers and sisters and most of all your husband .Rest in Peace
