Georgia May Phillips
Funeral services for Georgia May Phillips, 91, Dora, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Needmore Church of God under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Phillips died 7:22 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Ozarks Medical Center, West Plains. She was born January 20, 1922 at Fristoe, Missouri to Archie Ray Day and Ollie May Austin Day. She was married April 1, 1939 at Fristoe, Missouri to Curtis F. Keightley, and then on September 23, 1944, she was married at Sedalia, Missouri to Marion Phillips who preceded her in death on October 14, 1987. After earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees, she taught for many years at Dora School. At the time of her retirement, she was the school counselor. Mrs. Phillips enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting and doing crossword puzzles. She was a Christian and was a member of the Needmore Church of God.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances Tindell, Springfield, Missouri and Geneva Inman, Dora, Missouri; one step-daughter, Jacqueline Schaper, Beebe, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, Steve, Deanna, Lewis, Sheila, Wendy, Eldon, Jeremy, Candace, Jessica, Daniel, Linda, Judith and Mary Alice; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Joletha Draper, Peoria, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews
Her parents, husbands, two sons, Earnest and Curtis E. Keightley, one step-son,Dorsey Schaper, three great-grandchildren, four brothers, Gilbert, Leonard, Archie, Jr. and Austin Day, one sister, Mildred Thomas, two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 12th at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Ball Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ball Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Dear Family, Georgia was one of my favorite people. She was such an encouragement at church and was a great help when I was teaching the Sunday School class. I know she will be greatly missed but Heaven is rejoicing. My prayers are with you.
