Graveside services for Glenda Lovern Walker, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Gospel Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker passed away at 12:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2020 at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born February 15, 1936, at Pottersville, Missouri, to Frank Roush and Gertrude Thomas Roush. On February 9, 1954, she was married at Davis Creek, to James Edmon Walker, who preceded her in death on October 7, 1997. Glenda was a member of Love Thy Neighbor Club and retired from the International Shoe Company. She was a proud, loving farm wife and caring grandmother. Glenda’s passions were quilting, baking and quality time playing games with her family.
She is survived by three children, Katheryn Rhine and husband, Alfred, West Plains, Glenda Romans, Moody, Missouri and Ann Jett and husband, Will, West Plains; two half-sisters, Linda Sue Aten, State of Virginia and Janice Moss and husband, Jerry, West Plains; three half-brothers, Joe Croney and wife, Carolyn, State of Arkansas, Jerry Croney and wife, Mary Jo, West Plains and Bobbie Croney, Pottersville, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Mary Walker; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-father, one son, James Allen Walker, one grandson, Samuel Paul Romans, one son-in-law, Vernie Lee Romans, three brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.
