Gloria Lorene Carlile
Funeral services for Gloria Lorene Carlile, 66, Imperial, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carlile died at 8:23 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Charles, Missouri.
She was born January 18, 1948, at Piggott, Arkansas, to Willie Fleemon Eskew and Gladys Marie Polsgrove Eskew. Mrs. Carlile attended Elementary School at Campbell, Missouri and graduated from Bendle High School, Burton, Michigan, with the Class of 1966. On July 2, 1966, she was married at Flint First Baptist Church, Burton, Michigan, to Kenneth Lee Carlile. In addition to being a homemaker she worked as a church secretary at First Baptist Church, Duran, Michigan, a bailiff for the Cairo Michigan Sheriff’s Department, a nursing assistant at Doctor’s Hospital, Poplar Bluff, Missouri and in 2010 she graduated from Sanford-Brown in St. Louis, Missouri, as a medical coding specialist. Mrs. Carlile was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two children, Adam Carlile, St. Louis, Missouri, and Cyndi Printz and husband, Daniel, Republic, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jeffery Printz and Kaylin Printz; one sister, Carolyn Mallett and husband, Frank, Diamond City, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, and one brother, Hubert Eskew, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart and Lung Association, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
