Hardy Von Smith

Graveside services for Hardy Von Smith, 69, Park Hills, Missouri and formerly of West Plains, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Fowler Cemetery near Caulfield, Missouri under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith died 1:48 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Country Meadows Nursing Home, Parks Hills, Missouri.  He was born January 11, 1943 at Corpus Christi, Texas to Clifford Eugene “Gene” Smith and Ethel Crammond Smith Jackson.  Mr. Smith was a Christian.

He is survived by five children, Elbert, Terry,Michelle, Stanley and Mickey; two sisters, Peachy Roberson, West Plains, Missouri and Zelma Birckelbaw, Rochelle, Illinois; brother-in-law, Virdo Anderson, Mountain Home, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews including Patty Moody and Mike Smith

His parents, three brothers, Darrell, James and Duane Smith and two sisters, Alyne Anderson and Zola Smith precede him in death.

Mr. Smith will lie in state from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7th at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fowler Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
