Howard Ray Dunkin
Funeral services for Howard Ray Dunkin, 79, Wright City, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Dunkin died at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1935, at Myrtle, Missouri, to Hershel Jefferson Dunkin and Alma Leota Ary Dunkin. On December 30, 1960, he was married at St. Louis, Missouri, to Nancy Ellis. Mr. Dunkin was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. Before his retirement, he worked as a machinist at Standard Machine Company and was a member of the machinist union. Mr. Dunkin was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dunkin, of the family home; one daughter, Wendy Dunkin, Barnhart, Missouri; two grandchildren, Nicole Carter, husband, Rich and Michael Cibulka and girlfriend, Brittani Thurman; one brother, Hanford Dunkin, wife, Freda, Bellflower, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one son, Kelly Brandon Dunkin, two brothers and two sisters, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
