Hugo Erhard “Bud” Johnson
Funeral services for Hugo Erhard “Bud” Johnson, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnson died at 12:55 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2013, at Ozarks Medical Center.
He was born February 10, 1921, at Duluth, Minnesota, to Karl Levi Johnson and Amy Matson Johnson. On April 21, 1943, he was married at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, to Ruby Driscoll. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, making small crafts and lathe work. He loved telling stories to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was a member of Trinity Worship Center.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Johnson, of the family home; three children, Perry Dwayne Johnson, wife, Melva, West Plains, Missouri, Ronald L. Johnson, wife, Pamela, West Plains, Missouri and Karen Sloan, husband, Bob, Brandsville, Missouri; five grandchildren, Teena Skiles, husband, Joe, Auga Sloan, Eirik Sloan, Amy Johnson and Andrea Turner, husband, Justin; six great-grandchildren, Brooke, Alex, Courtney and Maisie Jo’ Skiles and Morgan and Perry D. “Hobie” Johnson, III; three nieces, Sarah, Carol and Hilda Jo’; one nephew, Karl III; and cousins, Borje Jonasson, of Learnod Fors Verland, Sweden and his daughter, Therese Jonasson, of Stockholm, Sweden.
His parents, one grandson, Perry D. Johnson II, one brother, Karl Johnson, Jr., three infant triplet siblings and one niece, Dorothy Huff and husband Gordon, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon Bible Society, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Prayers and thoughts are with the family. I count it a blessing to have known Brother Bud and listen to his memories of events in his lifetime. Loved his testimonies in church and how he loved “Blessed Jesus Hold My Hand.”

So sorry to hear of your loss. Uncle Bud was an awesome man of God…he touched many lives in his lifetime…I’m certain Pastor Victor Toney was awaiting him…now they are both dancing together before the Lord… (an old indian told me so) LOL God Bless his family, and bring Peace and Comfort to your hearts at this time.
