Illa Faye Hicks
Funeral services for Illa Faye Hicks, 80, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hicks died at 8:55 a.m., May 11, 2015, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born August 20, 1934, in the State of Arkansas, to Hubert Franklin Shannon and Mary Etta Pendergrass Shannon. She was married to Marvin Elwood Mize, who preceded her in death on October 26, 1964. On October 7, 1970, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Glenn Hicks, who preceded her in death on May 15, 1997. Mrs. Hicks was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and was of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by six children, Ronnie Mize, Linda Roberts, husband, Mike, Tereasa Murray, husband, David, Rick Mize, wife, Paula, Mary Thompson, husband, Dan and Leasia Driscoll; thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Shannon, wife, Anna Faye; one sister, Lucille Summers, husband, Bud; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Gary Hoover.
Her parents, husbands, one great-grandchild, Kaleb and one sister, Mary Christine Howard, precede her in death.
Mrs. Hicks will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. Thursday until service time on Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hammond Mill Bible Camp or VFW Auxiliary and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

We will all miss Illa so much, she was such a very Special Lady! I personally will miss serving her in the dining room. Her Children were her greatest joy her face would light up when she spoke of her Family! Our thoughts and prayers are with the Family during this time.
