Funeral services for Ina Fay Bennett, 92, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bennett passed away at 10:01 a.m., Friday, August 18, 2023, at West Vue Nursing Center.
She was born April 13, 1931, at Twin Bridges, Missouri, to Otis Ledbetter and Eunice Mitts Ledbetter. She received her education at Dora School. On September 27, 1949, she was married to Lynn Bennett in Howell County, Missouri, at the home of her beloved grandparents, J. W. and Rosa Mitts. Ina Fay and Lynn lived in New Jersey for two years while Lynn was in the Army. She loved for her and Lynn to go for rides and shopping; she enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with people. Mrs. Bennett was baptized in the early 1950’s.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn Bennett; her nephew and caregiver, Kevin Puckett; and several cousins.
Her mother and step-father, Eunice and Jess Hopkins, twin infant brothers, Clyde and Claude and her beloved grandparents, J. W. and Rosa Mitts, preceded her in death.
Visitation services will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at Howell Memorial park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of choice and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO 65775.

I always though she was the prettiest Lady I ever saw. I went to church with her when she was young at Bethany church house. RIP my sweet friend.

Lynn, I am sorry for your loss. Ina was a beautiful lady here on earth and now a beautiful Angel. She always had the prettiest smile. I pray God will give you comfort and peace during this time of sorrow.

My parents, Norris and Ivene Cozort, and I send our Deepest Sympathies to you upon the passing of Ina. She was wonderful caring lady and she had a wonderful smile plus personality as well. So very sorry to hear this news. Ina was one of a kind. She once told me “I don’t like what you do (draw blood) but I appreciate how well you do it”. Priceless compliment. May the image of her Heavenly reunion soothe your hurting hearts.
