I had a deep respect and kindred spirit with Jerry while working with him at Caulfield. I was there when Julie was still in the nursing home, and I remember in detail him sharing with me the entire story. My open tears were flowing as he told me, as they are now. He was private, so I knew he trusted me to tell me so vividly. I went to Julie’s funeral & then, while working in Pomona, I spent many lunch breaks “visiting” with Julie. I remember the grandmothers and Judy’s devotion to Julie’s care, and the manner that they diligently tried to reach that gorgeous child. I pray that Julie was waiting with open arms as he crossed that river. You never know how much a life can affect others. Thank you, Jerry. My prayers and thoughts are with Judy.
