Jim Huff, Sr.
Funeral services for Jim Huff, Sr., 76, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Huff passed away at 6:35 a.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017 at his home.
He was born March 26, 1941, in Howell County, Missouri, to Vernor Huff and Carrie Mabel Wood Huff. On May 2, 1981, he was married at Caulfield, Missouri, to Charlotte Jones. Mr. Huff was a veteran, having served in the United States army. He worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and was a founding member of West Plains Bass Club.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Huff; six children, Jim Huff, Jr., and wife, Julia, Julie Cook and husband, Kenny, Diana Huff and significant other, Dennis Roche, Todd Vanatter and wife, Robyn, Jason Vanatter and wife, Pat and Leah Vanatter; eight grandchildren, Jimmy Huff, III, Jacob Burke, Emily Roche, Ashlynn Vanatter, Suzi Vanatter, Tori Vanatter, Dillon Pike and Desiree Wilkins; three brothers, Curtis Huff and wife, Marcella, Richard Huff and wife, Kaye and John Huff and wife, Billie; one sister, Sue Crumbley and husband, Ace; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents and three sisters precede him in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Jim, Julia, and Family,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family upon the loss Jim. I have such wonderful memories to treasure of him delivering our mail especially on those Snow Days we had. Jim and family, So sorry to hear of your dad’s passing. As a little girl living on Monks, I anxiously awaited mail deliveries everyday, so I could talk to the nice mailman, your dad. He always had time to talk and make a joke. Prayers. Jill (Cozort) Brooks
