Jo Kate Crafton
Funeral services for Jo Kate Crafton, 81, Harrisburg, North Carolina, formerly of Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Crafton died at 10:05 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, at her home.
She was born February 11, 1931, at Savannah, Tennessee, to Charlie and Annie Duckworth Clausel. On October 2, 1953, she was married at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to Harold Edward Crafton, who preceded her in death on March 7, 2003. Before her retirement, she was a department manager for Wal-Mart. She loved her family and was a devoted grandmother; she enjoyed traveling and gardening. Mrs. Crafton was a member of Pomona Christian Church.
She is survived by three children, Harold E. Crafton, Jr., wife, Glenda, Hollister, Missouri, Lisa K. Patton, husband, Reid, Sugarland, Texas and Lora A. Crafton Easley, husband, Brian, Harrisburg, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Dustin Crafton, Christopher Crafton, David DeCrosta, Anthony DeCrosta, Brandon Barton, Kipp Easley, wife, Dawn, Grant Easley and Cole Easley; two great-granddaughters, Hailey Kay DeCrosta and Brynlee Easley; one brother, Vernon Clausel, wife, Gloria, Pasadena, Texas and one sister, Martha Freese, Savannah, Tennessee.
Her parents, husband, one granddaughter, four brothers, Swann, Clinton, Archie and Glenn and one sister, Kathrine, precede her in death.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mackey Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Mackey Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
