It’s hard to even imagine a world without John Paul! He’s touched so many and lives have been impacted by so great an example of a servant’s heart. God has certainly used this man to His glory! Love and prayers for family during this time.

Heaven gained and amazing Angel and words cannot express the sadness we feel from the loss of our dear friend. Mr. Doss you touched so many young men and women over the years and left a lasting memory with them they will never forget. You are missed so much now and it was an honor to have been your friend and worked with you with FFA. Rest in Peace John Paul Doss

The world is certainly going to miss John. He could find joy in just about everything and always had time for a good laugh. He n Byron Thompson could always keep the fun going and I’m sure that there is a lot that they never disclosed. John, be on the lookout for us. You were not a blood relative but to me you were n will remain so. With love and sadness,

John Paul always felt like family. My uncle David and John Paul grew up together, and I am sure my own father found ways to get involved in their mischief. John Paul graciously invested time into my children when their own grandpa became physically unable. John Paul gave each of them opportunities to hunt with him and learn from the best. Every year at deer camp, John Paul would tell stories that would make us laugh until our faces hurt as well as give us belly aches from eating too much of his homemade lasagna and pies.

John Paul truly loved other people. He set the bar high for loving others above himself. He not only read his Bible, but he tried to live it out in his life. He was never scared or timid about sharing his faith. I know John Paul will be deeply missed by his family and all those who were privileged to know him. He was the life of the party and I know he is probably telling some great stories in heaven right now.
