Judith Ann Thornton

Funeral services for Judith Ann Thornton, 79, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 22, 2022 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Thornton passed away at 5:28 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Ozarks Medical Center.  

She was born August 16, 1943, at Spring Valley, Illinois, to Geno Passini and Denise Poret Passini.  On May 31, 2008, she was married at Willow Springs, Missouri, to William Thornton.  Before her retirement, Mrs. Thornton was a Registered Nurse at Ozarks Medical Center.  She was always taking care of people and enjoyed her hummingbirds, her animals and gardening. 

She is survived by her husband, William Thornton, of the family home; two daughters, Denise Gallon and husband, Ken, Joplin, Missouri and Diane Aldrich and partner, John Nutt, Mountain Grove, Missouri; three grandchildren, Caitlyn Wiegand and fiancé Matt Tolliver, Kyle Wiegand and wife, Demittra and Morgan Aldrich; one great-grandchild, Adley; and one brother, Dave Passini and wife, Jeannie, West Plains, Missouri. 

Her parents, one sister and two brothers, preceded her in death.  

Visitation services will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Thornton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Thornton Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
