Junior Carl “J. C.” Huddleston
Funeral services for Junior Carl “J. C.” Huddleston, 70, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Huddleston died at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at his home.
He was born May 9, 1943, at West Plains, Missouri, to Carl M. Huddleston and Elsa Redburn Huddleston. He graduated from Koshkonong High School with the Class of 1961 and on March 23, 1968, he was married at Peoria, Illinois, to Linda Kay Creasy. Mr. Huddleston was a veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict with the United States Army. He was a Mason and a member of the Local 974 Union Hall and had worked at Caterpillar until his retirement. Mr. Huddleston was a die-hard Cubs fan and had great love for his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Huddleston; two children, James Mitchell Huddleston and Gena Brucker, husband, Raymond; five grandchildren, Lexie, Jacob, Isaac, Adam, Devin; mother, Elsa Huddleston; four brothers, Roy Huddleston, Ronald Huddleston, wife, Patricia, Tim Huddleston and Donald Huddleston, wife, Carla; three sisters, Mary Russell, husband, Robert, Pamela Hollis, husband, Mike and Audena Granger, fiancé, Gerald Staley; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joe and Angie Crites, Chantel Drake and Danisha Price.
His father, one grandson, Raydon Brucker, father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Mary Creasy, and one brother-in-law, Coy Granger, precede him in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Jolliff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Birthday Blessings, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
