Kathy Keeler
Funeral services for Kathryn Rose Keeler, 59, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Dry Creek Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Keeler passed away at 7:35 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2018 at NHC Healthcare.
She was born November 1, 1958, at Belleville, Illinois, to Marion Thomas Ellison and Trease Clair Mullins Ellison. On September 8, 1978, she was married at Pomona, Missouri, to Lowell Sherman Keeler, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 15, 2015. Mrs. Keeler drove a truck with her husband, driving all over the United States; she also worked at Country Mart, Midwest Country Kitchen and NHC Healthcare. She enjoyed bowling and loved animals. Kathy was a member of CB Radio Club with a handle of “Speedy”. Mrs. Keeler was a member of Dry Creek Church.
She is survived by two children and seven grandchildren, David Keeler and wife, Kaci, their children, Jayden, Serenity and Kathryn Lynn, all of Joplin, Missouri and Sherman Keeler, Jr. and special friend, Amanda Fox , their children, Jadon and Jacob Keeler and Nathaniel and Tyler Fox, all of Willow Springs, Missouri; her mother, Trease Ellison, West Plains, Missouri; three brothers, Clyde Ellison, Pomona, Missouri, Sidney Ellison and wife, Tammy, St. Peters, Missouri and James Ellison, West Plains, Missouri; three sisters, Trease Ellison, St. Louis, Missouri, Vicky Gomez and husband, Jose, Hempstead, Texas and Darlene Ellison, West Plains, Missouri; two half-brothers, Larry Ellison, Springfield, Missouri and Hollis Lee Ellison, State of South Carolina; one half-sister, Francis Henke, Waterloo, Illinois; several nieces and nephews; and lots of friends.
Her father and husband, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Dry Creek Cemetery or American Cancer Society and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

To Kathy’s Family, Kathy was a special lady, one of my favorites! We had plenty of visits and a lot of laughs She loved her boys very much. An was so pleased that she had Grandchildren! That was a high lite in her life, along with her animals. Now she is out of pain, an once again with her Lowell. Bet she is bowling with the angels!! Mary Sue Meal

May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead. Imagine that reunion in Heaven. So sorry for your loss. She was a spitfire and always had a smile for me.
