I am so sorry for your loss. As you well know, I know what it’s like to lose a child. There are no words. No words to take the immense pain away. It is not the natural order of things. My heart goes out to you in your time of grief and pain. The road ahead will be difficult and fraught with many emotions and sleepless nights. Pull together as a family and love and support each each other Everyone grieves differently and not all at the same time… remember this. Communication is key; but, most importantly, love one another. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sweet, Sweet Family,
My heart aches for your loss of Katie. Katie was a beautiful little girl. Her bright smile and gentle heart made her a very special little girl. I remember her tumbling and chasing her older siblings around your house during my last visit at your house. Beautiful memories flood my heart has I reflect upon the last time we were together. I know the days ahead will be painful and empty for the whole family, but rest quietly in the presence of the Lord, for He has blessed all members in your family, by allowing Katie to be YOUR daughter and sister. As you go through life’s greatest sorrow – the loss of Katie – may your own faith in the Lord sustain you, bringing you comfort today, courage for tomorrow, and hope in your heart ALWAYS. Prayers are being lifted up here in California for your endearing family, during this difficult time. I love each one of you dearly and hold you close to my heart in earnest prayer. Remember, that your enduring faith in the Lord will provide you immense comfort knowing that He loves you.
God bless you, Cheryl Gosnell
