Kenneth G. Squire
Funeral services for Kenneth G. Squire, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mr. Squire died 12:00 a.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012 at his home. He was born September 25, 1926 at Salem, Arkansas to Frank Talmage and Mable Gertrude Kenney Squire.
Mr. Squire was a veteran having served with the Merchant’s Marines. On December 11, 1949, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Rachel Ann Green. Mr. Squire had been a farmer at Moody, Missouri and was a bus driver for the West Plains R-7 School District for thirty-four years. He enjoyed the students and the many out-of-town trips he made with the music department. After his retirement, he drove cars for the Willard Brothers Auto Sales.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Squire, of the family home; two children, Linda Squire, West Plains, Missouri and Danny Squire, wife, Jan, Moody, Missouri; two grandchildren, Krista Webb, West Plains, Missouri and Leslie Squire, Branson, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, which includes a special great-grandson, Mason; one brother, Udell Squire, Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Olga Kennedy, West Plains, Missouri and Orvena Jo Moss, Salem, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers, Talmadge Squire and J. B. Squire and two sisters, Odelsa Collins and Oleta Lowrance, precede him in death.
Mr. Squire will lie in state from 11:00 a.m., Friday until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Moody Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Moody Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

We were sorry to hear of losing Kenneth. I (Ron) worked with Kenneth at West Plains R-7 and we shared many laughs and good times. Our prayers go out to his family.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Mr. Squire as my bus driver when I went to South Fork. He worked with my grandpa at one time.

I am just now doing our family tree and found that Kenneth passed. I am so sorry for your loss. He was my 2nd cousin.
