I remember the first time I met you and your large family in West Chicago. My family moved across the road from your family on River Glen Road in 1963. There was never a dull moment. You personally met many challenges; some were extremely difficult. The night a reckless driver hit you while you were riding your motorcycle was horrible, but you were determined to stand on your own again. You were a loyal friend with a contagious laugh. Your family, friends, and those who met you will miss you, and they will remember you with love. Rest in Peace.

I actually met you through my Mom, who was friends with Peggy’s mom. You remained a constant in and out of my life with Dave Meehan. Now you’re all together in that big rock concert in the sky. ? You will not be forgotten.

Hi Larry don’t know if I’m one of your friends or my maybe my nick name was “Do you know where you live?”. I think your family moved there about 1963, for some reason I remember 3rd grade. We all went swimming in our pool. I spent many years running back and forth across the street so the swamp monsters wouldn’t get me.

I’m afraid to search for my old friends on Google. I don’t like obits. I wanted visit Tressa, I think it was 10/24/21 ( approx 6 – 8 days after my birthday, then Wendy Gillard died Nov 8th same year, she lived next door to us on the right side. Having two of my childhood friends dying so close in time and next door freaked me out.

Larry I would have to write a novel about the Nottingham family. I think it was 1979 when all, with my ex, and Bobbie, my daughter. I’m going to search my old pics, too.

Larry you became my light in some of my darkest days. We met on Facebook and you flew me to Missouri. I met your wonderful, crazy family they were awesome, they never judged me and made me feel at home. We cooked and went horseback riding. We had several more trips together laughing our way through life. We cried when we had to say goodbye thinking there’s always tomorrow. You were indeed one of my best friends and I will miss you always. Until I see you again. Love,Jeanette Maier

Hey Hippie. I didn’t know until today that you joined the Old Goat and on his birthday even. Shortie and I tried calling a while ago but you must have already left. Thank you for your friendship and taking good care of Cheyenne.

Larry ~ We shared so many heart felt and intriguing conversations over the years. You walked to the beat of your own drum and for that I admired you the most.

You were the Best Man then ~ and you still are.

Holly ~ You were the one Larry chose to spend the rest of his life with and the one who truly loved him. You were his Best decision.

    My deepest condolences.

    Diana ( sister-in-law )
