Laura Alice (JoEmma) Lott
Funeral services for Laura Alice (JoEmma) Lott, 85, West Plains, Missouri, will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Lott died at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Ozarks Medical Center. She was born March 1, 1927, at Bakersfield, Missouri to Joe Bill and Emma Mullins Woodworth. On March 10, 1945, she was married at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Wallace Pierce Lott, who preceded her in death on December 9, 2008. In 1945, Mrs. Lott worked at Bead Aircraft, Wichita, Kansas and later at Richards Brothers and Anderson-Carte Dress Shop as a sales clerk, and retired from Eaton Corporation. She was a caring and loving homemaker for her husband and son and enjoyed going fishing with her husband and going to yard sales to find a good bargain. Mrs. Lott was a Christian and attended the Central Church of Christ.
She is survived by her son, Mike Lott, wife, Becky, West Plains, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tammy Miller, husband, John, Rogersville, Missouri, Amy Wheeler, husband Darron, Pomona, Missouri and Kevin Lott, West Plains, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Mason Miller, McKenna Miller, Andrew Wheeler and Emily Wheeler; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Woodworth and Katherine Lott, both West Plains, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, parents, one brother, J. T. Woodworth, one sister, Mary Lou Woodworth, two brothers-in-law, Corliss Lott and Jack Lott and one sister-in-law, Ioane Lott, precede her in death.
Burial will be in the Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or charity of choice, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
