Lavonna Sue Callahan, 77, West Plains, Missouri, passed away at 1:36 a.m., Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born October 31, 1943, at Tecumseh, Missouri, to Averill and Antha Anderson Cobb. After graduating from High School, Lavonna attended two years of Business College at Will Rogers Technical School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On June 9, 1967, she was married at South Fork, Missouri, to Rosco Winfred Callahan, who preceded her in death on January 23, 2013. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed gardening and canning.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Callahan and wife, Dina, Mountain Home, Arkansas and Scott Callahan and wife, Chantelle, West Plains, Missouri; two grandchildren, one sister, Leoma Easley, of State of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Brian and Scott, we are so sorry to learn of Lavonna’s passing. She was so precious when she watched our kids. We always knew they were in good hands. Our thoughts are with you and your families.
