Leslie Dewayne Ellett
Funeral services for Leslie Dewayne Ellett, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the New Hope Baptist Church under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Ellett died 6:15 a.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his home. He was born June 10, 1947 at Mountain View, Missouri to Leslie Edward Ellett and Inez Jessie Thomas. On August 10, 1998, he was married at West Plains, Missouri to Lorraine Horton. Before his retirement, Mr. Ellett had been a truck driver with Trail Liner and, also, he enjoyed farming. He loved cars, especially muscle cars, took pride in sawmilling and loved his family. Mr. Ellett was a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Ellett, West Plains, Missouri; his son, Wayne Thomas Ellett, wife, Amy, West Plains, Missouri; his mother, Inez Jessie Thomas, West Plains, Missouri; his step-mother, Maxine Ellett, Peace Valley, Missouri; three step-sons, Steve Watts, wife, Mandy, Memphis, Tennessee, Jason Watts and Isaac Watts, both of Rogers, Arkansas; three brothers, Leroy Edward Ellett, wife, Linda, Peace Valley, Missouri, Rick Thomas and wife and Rod Thomas and wife, all of Victorville, California; one sister, Leona Nicholas, husband, Morris, Ashland, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
His father, Leslie Edward Ellett, step-father, Bill Thomas, one brother, Dan Davis Ellett and one sister, Della Schafer, preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Monday, February 18th, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
