Lester Joseph “Joe” Wood
Lester Joseph Wood, 37, Koshkonong, Missouri, died at 11:54 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013, at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.
He was born June 18, 1975, at West Plains, Missouri, to Harold David Wood and Ginger May Nicholson Wood. He graduated from high school and attended UTI School in Houston, Texas. He enjoyed working on cars and loved to drive. Mr. Wood was a Christian and was baptized at an early age. Joe will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his parents, David and Ginger Wood, Koshkonong, Missouri; one brother, Harold Wood, Jr., “Crockett”, Koshkonong, Missouri; one niece, Samantha Bunch and her son, Lane; two nephews, Robbie Wood, wife, Amber and their daughter, Holli and Tommy Mowery; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
His sister, Catherine Ann Wood, precedes him in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe. I will keep you both as well a your family in my thoughts and prayers. Lean upon the Lord,he is the answer to everything. I will be thinking of you .

I am so very sorry about the passing of Joe. He was one of my very special students in high school art, and I will always remember him.

So sorry for your loss. Joe was always such a vivacious young man and exited about life. As an adult, he never failed to thank both of us for the years we shared with him as teachers.
He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Joe everything was so quick just as I think Joe would have wanted it, I became friend with Joe on facebook he was just so full of life and kindness and love all Joe wanted was to love someone and have someone to love him will miss his posts ..
