Sharron– We are so sorry to learn of this. We were not expecting it and we thought of him as part of the family. Earl was really fond of Lewis.

To relatives of Uncle Lewis Callahan. Carol Hayes Bybee and husband Ken extend our deepest sympathy to the family of our precious Uncle. His hospitality to us when we were in West Plains will forever be remembered. Lewis was an avid follower of our Lord Jesus. Lewis suffered many heartbreaks over the years; losing two daughters and a grandson plus our Aunt Pansy in August of 2013. Now, there has been an amazing reunion in paradise. May Sharon be comforted by relatives who are taking her in their care.
Thanks Sarah, for all your phone calls to keep us informed. Minnesota is presently in a snowstorm, making travel impossible. Just know our Lord’s presence is surrounding you. Take courage, Christ leads, cares and provides. Carol Hayes Bybee & husband Ken

You have our deepest sympathy. Lewis was a good and decent man. Worked many years with him, while he served as a volunteer firefighter.

Know you were loved, and will be missed old friend!

It is with great sadness for family and friends yet rejoice for uncle Lewis to know he is forever at peace reunited with loved ones who passed far too soon. Uncle Lewis was always so soft spoken and kind and always welcoming with a big hug that has been far too long received. As a child I remember he always ended up with my favorite pet cow. I remember his strength also. As carol and ken said. More heartache than anyone should have or endure. Now how happy he is to see their faces again. But know the world is a lot less kind with Lewis no longer walking around. Honor uncle Lewis by serving God and spreading love kindness and patience and his great big grin and chuckle. Love you from Florida Trin Hayes
