I was sorry to learn recently of Lois’s death. She was a great companion to my older brother Gene Dethrow for several years. I know that Lois was a fine woman, and she was always nice to me and my family. I do remember that at the time of my brother’s death back in 1997, she took up a collection for Gene’s family to help with travel and funeral expenses–that was much appreciated, and demonstrated what a kind person she was. Rest in peace, Lois.
