Lois Jean Harper
Funeral services for Lois Jean Harper, 78, West Plains, Missouri will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harper died at 5:47 a.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Ozarks Medical Center.
She was born January 23, 1936, at West Plains, Missouri, to Howard Earl Young and Lola Ann Moffis Young. On May 11, 1957, she was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Glen Franklin Harper, who preceded her in death on October 25, 2011. She was a homemaker and enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s ball games. Mrs. Harper was a member of the South Fork Church.
She is survived by three sons, Randy Harper, wife, Ann, Caulfield, Missouri, Roger Harper, wife, Shealia, West Plains and Jimmy Harper, wife, Lisa, West Plains; nine grandchildren, Scott Harper, wife, Ashley, Riley Harper, wife, Tiffany, Casey Whisenant, husband, Derek, Kara Mae Brown, husband, Justin, Lydia Harper, special friend, Jim Donley, Zachary Harper, Dillon Harper, Jacob Harper and Dalton Harper; nine great-grandchildren, Braxton, Braymer, Garrett, Brayda, Max, Branch, Ryan, Kasen and Madi; two sisters, Freda Paschall and Ruby Snethern, both of West Plains; one brother-in-law, J. T. Wells, Caulfield, Missouri; four sisters-in-law, Lenora Frazier, Dora, Missouri, Sue Lair, husband, Jerry, Jeanna Morris, husband, Steve and Sharon Moore, husband, David, all of West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, husband, one brother, Mike Young, two sisters-in-law, Adele Wells and Kathreen Rhine, four brothers-in-law, Ray Rhine, Dallas Frazier, Roy Paschall and Bud Snethern, one grandson, Bobby Ryan Joyce and one great-granddaughter, Brylee Harper precede her in death.
Mrs. Harper will lie in state from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time at the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Fowler Cemetery or a charity of choice, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

So sorry to the Harper and Young family for the loss of Lois. We all knew each other when we were kids in school and in the Caulfield/South Fork community and have kept track of each other all these years. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
