Lonnie “Bud” Thompson
Funeral services for Lonnie “Bud” Thompson, 50, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 29, 2013, in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson died at 7:20 p.m., Friday, October 25, 2013, at his home. He was born August 8, 1963, at West Plains, Missouri, to Lonzo and Genevieve Kelly Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a farmer. He enjoyed coon hunting and horses; and was one who always wanted to lend a helping hand to friends and those in need.
He is survived by one brother, Terry Thompson, fiancee’ Sheila, ten sisters, Edith Cox, Mary Thompson, Wilma King, Esther Thompson, Janice Thompson, Josie Thompson, Judy Doss, Violet Curtis, Louise Thompson and Marie Mallory; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one sister, Betty King and one brother, Jimmy Thompson, precede him in death.
Mr. Thompson will lie in state from 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, until service time at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The West Plains Regional Animal Shelter, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
