Lou Venia Pace
Funeral services for Lou Venia Pace, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Central Church of Christ, West Plains, Missouri, followed by a graveside service at Fairview Cemetery, near Flippin, Arkansas at 2:00 p.m., all under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pace died at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Pleasant Valley Manor.
She was born January 1, 1927, in the State of Oklahoma, to Bill and Vida Hall Hogsed. On February 15, 1947, she was married at Flippin, Arkansas, to Brack Pace, who preceded her in death on December 10, 2006. She worked as a customer service representative with the local telephone company and farmed with her husband. Mrs. Pace was a member of the Bluebirds Singers, was a member of the Church of Christ and attended Central Church of Christ, West Plains.
She is survived by three sons, Michael Pace, wife, Diana, Terry “Bo” Pace, wife, Sunie, and Randy Pace, wife, Sherry, all of West Plains, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jason Pace, wife, Jenni, Ryan Pace, wife, Tish, Suzannah Pace, Anna Waddell, husband, Pete, Tanner Pace and Brayden Pace; seven great-grandchildren, Blake, Brooke, Blair, Reid, Layne and Luke Pace and Parker Tye Bell; one sister, Lorene Ott, Flippin, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Roy and Don and two sisters, Fleta and Florene, precede her in death.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Cemetery, and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

LouVenia and I worked together at the Telephone company. We shared many good times and many lunches together. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her so much.
If you thought you had a problem she could make you see that you could get through it. She was always there for support and encourgament. yes, we laughed a lot. Just about silly things, my heart is sad, as I know I have lost a dear friend, but hopefully we will be laughing again someday, in another time.
If you have a dear friend don’t wait too long to visit and rekindle the friendship. I wish I had done that. I will think of you “Sunshine” love Wanda

LouVenia was a wonderful friend and neighbor at the Timbers. She was always game for anything especially playing cards. Pitch or five crown she was always there with a smile on her face ready to play. I will miss her very much.
